What to do with PS2? - Hardware & Software

Well, there is buzz around this area about what to do with an old xbox which motivated me to grab one for about 20. Now, I have a PS2 sitting on my desk used to raise my monitor up to eye level. Is there any better use for it? I've heard it's possible to put Linux on it etc etc... But I'm interested to see the different ideas that people have for it. It's the original fat model, not the slim one.

Play games with it?

You can go to gamestop or what ever used game store you have around and buy all the ps2 games that you never got around to playing for cheap. I got MGS2 for $3 and MGS3 for $5 these last two weeks.

Big agree on Ace Combat. Also get Shadow of the Colossus, Ico, Black, Burnout Revenge, Metal Gear Solid 3, Katamari Damacy and a Tekken or Soul Calibur game. Also you can play great old PS1 games on it!

The fat playstation can already play ps1 games. Get Okami Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Devil May Cry MGS Drakengard And if your into RPG's Kingdom Hearts FFX But browsing around your used game store, your sure to see numerous games that you've wanted to play but never got to.

Mine wasn't modded and I had few games for it so I traded it in for store credit, yeah I'm a little bit regreting but I got a PSP out of it and it's very hand for travelling, late night gaming etc.
