Ayahuasca / DMT - General - Facepunch Forum

Hi there, got a question for you guys: I'm getting really interested in DMT, the mental effects of it and like... everything. As I know ayahuasca (almost) always comes with vomiting, but it's much longer like if you smoke it in crystallized for with of w/o MAO. Anyone here tried it? Some speak it may change your life forever.

most hallucinogens have a good chance of "changing your life forever" AFAIK

If you're not a shaman, part of an Amazonian tribe, or fairly well-educated in some way on the effects of ayahuasca then you should not take it.

I've been reading on DMT for the past couple years now. Don't get me wrong, but its really something not to fuck with. DMT is the chemical that makes us dream, so basicly we trip on DMT every night. I read an article where a test subject believed he was being anally raped by an alligator. I know its funny, but he didn't just hallucinate being raped, he actually thought he was being raped. Its basically our 'spirit molecule'. It's located in our paneil gland (spelled it wrong), its our third eye. Extreme shit, Way more powerful than acid, but its only for 30 minutes.

DMT in it's pure crystal form is smoked and the effects will come immediately and the rush will be alot stronger than the Ayahuasca rush. DMT is not like LSD or shrooms instead you're thrown into an unknown world with with fractals, kaledioscopic patterns with aliens that speak to you with an unknown languge that you often are able to understand. My friends friend did DMT she flew in a tunnel and spoke to an alien who told her about her own existance and how everything is made out of atoms and energy. Alot of people who have done DMT had conversations with aliens. Ayahuasca is a little weaker visually but its alot more powerfull in the mental way. The vomiting (La Purga) is an extreme experince but after the vomiting the real trip begins. Alot of people have bad DMT trips but you always learn something good from the trip even if the trip was bad. Alot of people seem to get "ego death" on DMT. Sounds like something I'd have fun with. Only concerns of mine are how it all goes down afterwords, and the affects of that.

Raped by aligator? Meh, don't really think I have to worry about it.

The only thing I'm not sure about this, is because Salvia made me batshit insane and DMT will be even a more intense trip. At salvia, I was "lagging", I heard and saw everything echoing, 4-5 times and faces morphing. I don't know, maybe I have to get some more experience. (Maybe after DMT I'll become a scientologist, NOOOO, never, go away Tom Cruise!)

Anyhow, DMT is fucking expensive and next to impossible to find unless you're well connected with old-heads. I have access to it through a friend who introduced me to a guy who thinks he's a shaman, he sells it for $180/gram, along with mescaline and some 2c-x chemicals. Weird guy, I've only bought 2c-b off him once and I'm not interested enough to drop that much coin on a tiny bag of crystals.

Smoked DMT can sometimes result in less memory of the trip, plus the fact that it is a lot shorter. Ayahuasca usually is more of a deeply spiritual feeling, more slow moving, but it can be remembered more easily because there's simply so much more to remember.

Check Erowid.com for recepies, dosages and what ingredients you should buy. Also check other peoples experinces to prepare yourself of the bad effects and how you can prevent it. Make sure you have a good set and seting with a sitter but if you are used to psychedlics and had bad trips before no sitter is should be needed ^^ Drink the Ayahuasca several times in small doses to get less nausea and vomit less. La Purga is a part of the Ayahuasca experince, after some vomiting you will start to trip and you feel good again. People who done ayahuasca feel that the vomiting is not a big deal and only a part of the trip. I have done Amanita Muscaria (fly agric) i vomited aswell several times but when the tripping started it was tootaly worth the pain.

And this drug isn't like you'll be on shrooms running around and shit. You'll probably lay on the ground and not move for about 30 minutes screaming. But i would want a experience like that, its just a real thin line of Having a good trip or Having a unwanted life changing experience. There was this guy who's been a serious catholic his whole life, and he tried it and after his trip, he stopped believing in god.
