• I think there's some kind of virus on my computer!

I hate bothering FP with stuff like this but to be honest, I am genuinely worried. I was browsing the internet (as you do) when suddenly, the browser shut down, displaying the message "This site is harmful to your computer blah blah blah" Then, a window came up titled XP Home Security 2011. It 'scanned' my computer revealing 31 infections. If I click on remove all, a message comes up saying "purchase full version" and "manual activation. This makes me doubt that is is a real program.... The toolbar at the bottom also has an icon, displaying messages such as Virus Intrusion. Your computer security is at risk. Spyware, worms and trojans were detected in the background. Prevent data corruption and credit card information theft. Safeguard your system and perform a free security scan now. Of course this makes me doubt it! Sadly, I don't really know what to do from here, as I can't open the internet without it displaying an error message (I'm currently typing this form my laptop) and I'm seriously concerned about what this actually is. I have a suspicion that it is 'amd.exe', which is a new process I (don't think) I've seen before. Please someone help me! (If any more information is required, just say) Also, I'm very sorry if this is in the wrong section.
