King Arthur - Issue when launching the game

I'm experiencing an issue with this game. So, during the weekend sale I finally bought King Arthur, the game always seemed very interesting to me.

So I bought it on steam and downloaded it perfectly. However whenever I launch the game, my screen goes black and the King Arthur logo appears, afterwards there is a weird sound, it sounds like a midi sound. Then the game crashes to desktop and nothing happens.

I don't know what the issue could be, my pc can run games fine. I'm just a bit upset because I just bought a game that won't even launch.
