CYMA CM028 AK AEG not firing anymore, could be a small problem

After months of sitting around without charge, I found the battery and charger for my AK47 replica from CYMA. Charged it for four hours, stuffed the battery back into the single hardest to open slot ever, and now nothing is happening. The gun fired perfectly in the past. Now, it won't even make a sound when the trigger is pulled. This is my first AEG, and I've got no idea what could possibly be wrong. I bought it last year and it was functioning great...up until now.
Questions thread, please.
You didn't give us any useful information. What happens when you shoot?
Either the battery died, either the wiring is cut somewhere, either the motor died.
But please, we try to keep this board clean, use the Question thread next time.

Nothing, at all. The trigger pulls back as usual, but there's no report, the gun doesn't fire(dry or loaded). It's an issue.

Sorry, I just assumed that this might have fallen out of the realm of a small question...
When this happen, as said, it may either be the motor wiring, the actual wires going from it to the battery, the actual battery, the motor being dead, etc.
It's an electrical issue.
Unless it moves a tiny bit inside, which here it would be a jam.
You probably have a burnt out fuse. Look for the fuse carrier thing and take the fuse out. Then go and buy a new one at the hardware store and replace it.
Be sure to get the same one.
The fuse doesn't look spent. Metal's on an odd angle, it's not going straight down, more diagonally, but it looks intact...then again, I'm not really sure how this all works. Pic incoming.

It could be burnt out right on the ends where you cant see it. It's worth a shot, fuses are cheap.

True. All I've gotta do is find a nice hardware store and I'm set. Hopefully that does it.
Bypass the fuse. Take the fuse out and take those contacts and press them together so you have a complete circuit. (Don't hold them, click them together) Fire it once to check. If it fires, go get a new fuse. If not, it's some other problem.
Thats how its supposed to look. Make sure the wire contacts on the motor are on right.

Yeah, looks like it's not the fuse. How would I go about checking the motor contacts.
Hell, I'm not sure how it works on an AK, I'm sure it's in the same spot though. On the bottom of the grip there should be a screw to remove the grip and motor. Than you just check if the red and black wires are firmly on the motor contacts.

Had a feeling, unscrewing now.

Looks intact, but, as I said, my limited knowledge forces me to concede any conclusion to you folks.
I once had a gun that's fuse burnt out (I guess I don't know).
I switched it out for another one and it worked again.
Odd part is that the fuse that I thought was burned out continued to work in a different gun.
Try bypassing the fuse anyways. Had that happen with my CM M4's fuse. Fuse was visibly intact, but it wasn't letting power get to gun.
I'm not sure how to go about bypassing, but any attempts at fixing so far have resulted in nothing less than failure. I'm at my wit's end.

um put a jumper wire across to the fuse contacts
even a paperclip or screwdriver would work
Bypass the fuse by taking the fuse out, and connecting the two metal clamps that were holding the fuse.
Yeah, not working. Damn.
Have you even tried a different battery?

I would, if I had one. First AEG, never bothered to buy another battery. Was planning on doing it before this all happened.
Spending $30 on a new battery would probably fix this.
In my experience using another battery doesn't solve the problem 90% of the time.

In this case it easily could.
Do you have any friends that airsoft? You could try one of their batteries first.
Yeah, one. I live in NYC so it's not exactly legal without a license, but nobody seems to care.
Yeah, here in California, it's technically illegal to remove the orange tip. Nobody cares about that, either. Hell, cops don't even really arrest people for smoking marijuana where I live.
