• How do I fix my Echo 1 M4?

It's broken currently, and has been in this state for months. I've been using my friend's gun, he doesn't play any more and he leaves his gun at my house. Anyways, how do I fix it? When I attempt to fire it, no noise emerges from it, nothing. I simply pull the trigger and nothing happens. I believe it's the trigger contacts, they're probably burnt out, but I don't know for sure. I've checked the wiring, no breakages. Made sure the motor flanges were connected properly. But that's pretty much the extent of my skills. I'll provide any additional details if necessary. Thanks in advance. Also, the exact model is an "ECHO 1 Full Metal STAG-15 Carbine".
First things first, did you try a different battery?
Yeah, I tried 3 different batteries, of course fully charged, but to no avail.
May be the connectors on the motor. Have this problem with my JG M16 where they keep disconnecting once I put the grip plate on.
Trigger contacts being burnt out is the first thing that comes to mind.

I'm not entirely sure if it's the contacts, but I have a hunch. And how would I fix them if it is?
No clue. I just give my gun to the gun doc if it breaks, I've had bad experiences trying to fix my own guns.
Same, but I'm low on money, so fixing it myself would be cheaper.
If your 100% sure it's not the wiring or the motor, Then it's the trigger contacts.
You're going to have to open the gearbox to check the trigger contacts, simple as that. Other option to test is to remove the motor from the grip, but keep it wired. Pull the trigger. If it spins then your contacts are fine, if it doesn't your contacts are bad.
You didnt happen to check the fuse, did you?
You didnt happen to check the fuse, did you?
This was what I was going to ask. Replace the fuse or bypass the fuse (Connect the metal connectors to one another) and see if that does anything. Otherwise your trigger contact may be burnt out or simply not connecting.

And I tried as Ender said and removed the motor, and it didn't spin, so I guess it's the trigger contacts. I don't know how to do gearbox work though.

Sounds like the motor to me. My friend got a JG AK just like mine and his motor went bad after a day's use. Did the same exact thing, just wouldn't fire. I put mine in and it shot perfect.
His motor is turning over, so he's probably right about it being the contacts (or I guess it could be something else in the wiring, but the contacts are the most likely.
