• Loud CPU fan (Bad Asrock fan control?)

Hi there. My rather new PC has an asrock motherboard, and AMD Phenom II 955BE with its stock cooler. Its pretty silent, when idle. and when playing, its silent for a while Its silent until it reaches the target CPU fan speed. after that, it starts making a lot of noise. like, a lot of noise. Cant really play because it annoys me too much. anyone have any experience of Asrock motherboard CPU fan control? When playing, my computer is louder than any computer i have seen. So, which one would be the major cause, the stock AMD Phenom II 955BE stock cooler, or my Asrock motherboard? Also, i my previous computer had Asrock too. it was loud too. really loud. Im using the Asrock OC tuner to silent my CPU a bit, but its still not really silent.
It's making noise because it's going so fast to keep your computer cool. The solution? Don't work your computer so much - to quote Scotty (after removing the accent): "You cannot change the laws of physics".
Phenom II 9xx CPUs pull 125+ Watts at full load, and the stock HSF solution is woefully inadequate to cool the CPU at full throttle, especially if overclocked. I suggest getting an aftermarket cooling solution to solve the problem.
yeah. lavacano, i know it makes noise to keep computer cool. but this makes kinda LOT noise. And ofcourse im going to work my computer, i didnt buy this pc for nothing. Can anyone suggest me any good, not-so-loud cpu fans?
budget?
