so after being on linux for a little while and going back to windows I realized that my razer mamba is suffering from some input lag when I'm using windows. the lag is just barely noticeable so I wouldn't spot it if it wasn't for me changing between linux and windows. even though the lag is incredibly minor it still affects how well I aim in games for example. any idea what could be the cause of this?
Does the mouse come with special drivers? It's possible that it needs them to get rid of the input lag
Yup, most likely a drivers issue. Most gaming Manually-Operated User-Select Equipment devices have drivers to support special button function.
wow, thread never appeared in my read list, sorry for late response. I have the drivers for it installed, should I reinstall them then? just noticed that its wireless mode doesn't really work either, so that's weird.
Yeah try reinstalling them and let us know how it works out
just reinstalled the drivers with no noticeable change. it still doesn't feel right to move the mouse around, feels like it's hanging behind like it did earlier.
Did you disable Enhance Pointer Precision?

just disabled it and not feeling much change other than it not slowing down when mouse goes slow. still feels that it kinda jerks after
Do you have another mouse you can compare it to?

I have a razer lachesis, but it's pretty old now. changed back to linux now and it feels about the same, so I think it's the mouse or I'm just imagining things.
wait nevermind, booted back into windows earlier and the change is HUUGE. in linux there is absolutely no input lag, but windows is lagging behind big time
Did you try another mouse to compare?
