Ohgod I hate writing an e-mail on one of those. I'd have having to imagine myself coding on one.

It's using a physical keyboard, Bluetooth or whatever the iPad uses for that. Watch the video.
Anyway, looks neat, but with the iPad being restricted as it is, the inability to export and lack of ability for custom graphics will keep me away from it. I must admit it's neat for prototyping ideas, but nothing beats an actual IDE on an actual computer.
An Android app like this would be handy, the Asus Transformer seems like the perfect choice for this kind of work.
Lua based environment... dream come true.
Or you can just make an actual game on a proper computer and then build it for mobile platforms.
I can't speak on behalf of iPhone or iPad development but for Android devices it's only a matter of seconds.
They don't expect full games, more just a tool to mess around with

No problems so far

One is coming out for android. EDIT: atleast I read it somewhere, lemme find the source.
I posted this before you, IndieGames.
An FYI:
You cant import graphics yet, but they're working on it.
I wanna see the terms of service. If I write something totally awesome, can the Codify people go "Hey thats cool. -yoink-"?
Android does have a GCC based C++ compiler, download C4Droid and the GCC plugin and you're good to go
It's not the best environment for working on but it works
It's also limited to console apps and not as robust as this but still
I got this the other day. I'm not saying it's perfect to type in, but they've made it quite a bit easier to use the touch keyboard for scripting (new buttons dedicated to script related tasks.etc), I haven't got frustrated with it yet.
But really, if you think this is built to build full applications in you're an idiot. This is something to fuck about in if you're on a long drive or some shit.

They don't have access to your code so what makes you think they'll be able to do that?

Oh this is sweet, especially I have a physical keyboard to type on.

Until you have to use curly braces. Presumably you have to use the symbol menu to use those?

I want the complete Android SDK and NDK on it.

Regardless of what platform or device it is, being able to develop in it is pretty awesome.

See that SYM button?
Opens the menu with special symbols.
Including Curly Braces.
I honestly couldn't do it without a responsive, physical keyboard.
I always end up plugging my transformer into the dock if I want anything longer than 10 words typed.

Now doesn't that seem like the sensible thing to do.
Why dick around with the emulator when you can run your compiled APK natively.
