I overworked a tendon and my muscles tightened up so I need to stretch them to get them flexible again like they were.
What I am asking is if I have a heat pad on the muscle I am stretching while I am stretching will I get more benefit from the stretch?
Yes :downs:
I don't trust you at all.
Not entirely sure what you're asking. Title is confusing.
If you stretched a muscle too far:
Ice application helps reduce swelling, bleeding, and pain. Ice application should begin as soon as possible after sustaining a muscle pull. Ice applications can be done frequently, but should not be done for more than 15 minutes at a time.
okay that has nothing to do with what I am asking but thanks for the attempt
Unless you got cold and hot mixed up

Imagine the Slender man in an oven while stretching out to get you. :ohdear:
It isn't hard to figure out, a little common sense goes a long way.
Just get a ice-hot patch/pad/bag. The heat will help, but don't expect it to go away in a few hours.
