It's really cheap now :v:
Wish I had a credit card in these moments :argh:
I wish more people would get and play this. It's a great game when you get low ping servers with a decent amount of players, but sadly there's no decent Australian servers.
It's not worth 20€. It's fun but you grow tired of it quickly. I'm not sure if it's worth 10€ either, but I'll try and see this weekend, but last time it was free I figured I'd save my money.

Yea first time I saw a trailer I thought it seemed like a really cheap game.
I mean hell, how lazy are you to remove most sound effects under the reasoning that its outer space, plenty of games x10 better than this game have done it without anybody giving a damn.
Going to try this again. Last time there was a free weekend it didn't start for me.
The orientations are really odd and hard to get used to.
i bought this shit and played it for 10 min

There is sound. It's sound simulation. It can be turned off (silent mode) but it isn't entirely silent.
Any way that I could improve the framerates on my laptop (G105M) because I'm not always at the house with my gaming desktop.

The game has sound, what are you talking about?
There's a stealth mode that turns off suit functions (including the sound simulation), perhaps you accidentally hit that button.

I thought the fact that they handled sound realistically was pretty cool.
FINALLY a free weekend when I have Windows 7.
I kind of want to buy this game, but what will the playerbase look like after the free weekend is over? Will the whole game just die?
Buy it, it's a new game and they're constantly updating/patching things.
They've added new guns, better optimization, new maps, etc. They aren't done updating it yet.
I gotta say I'm glad I bought this game from release. It still needs more updates but please buy the game to make it happen
Plus I need more people to play with.
Game wasnt that good, half the time I couldn't understand what the fuck is going on and games ended too quickly.

I'm in the same boat. The game is fun and all, but what I heard it's pretty much dead.

Are you one of those people who dismiss any game with a learning curve in the first sixty seconds?
Seriously, there are objective modes and a deathmatch mode. There is nothing to figure out in that regard. The only challenge is the controls, and I must not have had much problem with those either since I went 14/3 with 3 captures the first time I played.
I'll give you some tips: Set your keybindings to be less annoying. Aim down the sights should be mouse 2, space/ctrl for up/down instead of space/shift, stuff like that. Find where you like it. Once you get the controls and you stop concerning yourself with those, learn the mechanics. One, learn how to roll. It's useful for sticking to surfaces without finding yourself facing away from your enemy. Two, stop thinking about which way up and down are. They don't exist. Three, figure out how to read your radar. It's not a 2D image like other radars. Four, grenades. You have tons of them so use them and learn how to launch them with the proper force. Ice grenades are great for concealing a point so you can capture it solo if your team sucks, for example.
And if you still can't get it, just don't play. The game has a few flaws but don't throw around blanket statements like "game wasn't that good" just because you can't figure it out.
I love the 3d combat in this game. And the silent mode. Bought the game, hopefully won't regret it in the future.

It's $10. There are better games worth 10 and there are worse. I'll probably buy it too.
It plays ALOT smoother for me, but some maps can still drop my framerate to like 20.
