I recently made a gmod server and would like to know the best place to advertise it, without getting banned of course!

Best way is to just get players (friends) on your server to bump it up on the server list.
One appealing title later and boom players.
Don't advertise your servers here, we dont want the website full of people advertising their servers
Instead, get people in your server, if you think you cant get enough players, wait until a few people come to your server

I dare say that thy initial hypothesis is morally repugnant, as the denizens of this forums would prefer it not that thou displayeth thine placard summoning individuals to your good server.
If I may place an alternative proposal, perhaps it may be more upstanding and efficacious to, with thy companions, play on the server so-as to give passerbys notice of the potentiality of an engaging experience being present therein.
