Do you support the Troops? - General

I personally don't, and I fucking hate cunts who join the military just for that 'Hero' status.

I support troops, not their governments. And thats a very sweeping brush to paint with OP.

I don't dislike the soldiers personally, I just dislike the cause they're fighting for, which is why I don't support them.

I don't "support" the troops, but I don't have anything against anyone that wants to join the military. I feel this poll leaves out any option to be indifferent.

Why shouldn't you support the troops? They're just ones following orders so that they can feed their mouths and maybe their family's mouths too. If you don't support their actions,hate the ones giving the orders

The continued existence of the military is why conflict between major nations has lowered, among other reasons. It's fine to disagree with individual actions the government uses the military for, but the troops themselves as well as their existence as soldiers are not to be disliked.

The troops themselves, almost invariably, I have the utmost respect for those willing to put their lives on the line for others, their governments on the other hand, not all the time, sometimes yes, but not always.

I have a Job and a girlfriend, which keeps me pretty busy. Plus, I never talked smack about anyone. Men in the military don't have more balls than me. What balls does it take to need money and to join the military for a career, then ending up getting shot? Most troops don't even die, and the ones who do I feel bad for, just because they died fighting a pointless war. They wasted their life for a pointless cause. Please try harder next time.
