Hmmm... OP it seems like you're dealing with the second generation Maverick, as the original was heavier and sported a blue and yellow color scheme, as opposed to black and yellow. Personally, I find my G1 Maverick to be more dependable then the new cheapo models, so I'd advise looking for an older model, either for parts for modding, or an overall replacement. I have this same model and I've modded the fuck out of it and it works fine. Check to see if the O-ring in the plunger is ok.

I'm a nerf nerd. I have a maverick, 2 Recons, Nitefinder, Vulcan, and a Doubleshot (nerf knockoff). I actually modded the darts that came with my Doubleshot and put thumbtacks in them. They work surprisingly well.

Its not intricate. Trust me I've modified many of these years ago. Personally I'd buy a new one- but if i were you and didn't want to- You should check out the Air chamber (Place after the spring) Please dont take out the Little Complex black part next to the chambers. Seriously, you wont get it back together.

I have a Maverick G1 and it does this too now. It felt so goddamn bad ass too :saddowns:

Yeah, turns out my screws were tight enough (well actually the ring thing that locks in when you pull back wasn't held tight enough,but screwing in more helped that I did a number of mods on this, like taking out the air resistors, /hallowing the chamber, the half open barrel, a modified (by modifies I mean better) penny mod, and this weird straw thing (that actually worked to my surprise) I can't get a real gun because of my dad, and seeing as we live in New York, I cant really make a solid argument against his whole, "Why do you need a gun, guns only cause trouble" [quote]I own a Remington 12-Guage, Mossberg 20-Guage, Taurus 9mm, Desert Eagle .50, Marlin 30-30, and a Beretta Bobcat. I have a Longshot and Longstrike. Longstrike looks cooler and is more quiet, but Longshot (older one) outperforms by a few feet. I'm trying to remove the air restrictor on the new Longstrike. No success so far. [editline]09:41PM[/editline] And yeah reloading the minigun is a bitch.
