Ok so i have this rig > I feel like something needs upgrading, so i figured, flush out the system, change the ram and cool the gpu's and try and squeeze a single rad in there somehow as well! WHAT DO YOU THINK I SHOULD UPGRADE FP? [editline]11th July 2012[/editline] I was also thinking if i do change the ram, to get THIS!!! >
You seem like one who likes spending money, so go for a Intel Core i7-3960X. Costs about 1000$ or so... When you'r on it, you should buy 5x3TB HDDs and 3 Kingston HyperX 230 GB SSDs in RAID 0.... For fucks sake, stop indirectly bragging about your kool LEDs, watercooling and GPU. Don't waste our time.
Yeah honestly, it's pretty obvious that you're just trying to show off your build. There's a thread for that in H&S. If you really did want help, you'd have posted the computers full specs and a budget.

I actually am serious about doing this and have been for a while, -_-
Then post your specs and a budget.
£600 2 GTX680's in sli, is what i want to water cool, ( need help with undoing the shields e.c.t ) i already have my loop connected to XSPC Rasa 750 RS240 But the dye i used was With Mayhem's Aurora red liquid, which worked ok for the first few days but the pump does not juggle the fluid around enouph in the bay to have the effect anymore, so im looking to go PASTEL now. also i think including another single rad will help with the cooling all the way round aswell, hence why i said that previously aswell. I already have the fluid to flush and new fluid ( pastel ) to use. so realy i need help with the parts i need, such as fittings e.c.t
It's your money and your choice man. But do you really need the upgrade? If everything is running fine and at decent temps then I really wouldn't bother messing with it.

You. Anyone who's up to date with computer hardware can easily see what graphics cards were on display, also having 2 small red LEDs is realy not a big deal.
not really i don't memorize what every brand's card looks like, and i doubt anyone else does either
"we" you mean.. You. Try putting actual effort into your requests next time, instead of expecting us to guess your system specs from a silly little picture.

By me simply posting an exiting idea I had in mind has automatically turned into random outburst's of over exaggerated nonsense, and hate for not being more specific from the get go from myself. I wasn't trying to be a smart ass or trying to simply go ranting on about what i already had, hence no spec talk from the start. I was exited about the prospects of my next challenge, as its something I really enjoy doing. Hate all you want by I was actually looking for some real help here.

I don't built computers often but I do maintain my own computer as well as several others in my household and my neighbourhood. Insult my experience and knowledge with computers all you want I'm not the one asking for help here.
I wasn't trying to be a smart ass.
You've posted in a thread asking for help, then when people ask for more details you decide to be an ass about it and insult their intelligence, assuming that because they can't guess the hardware they're inexperienced and lack knowledge. Sounds to me like you're trying to be a smart-ass.
Hate all you want by I was actually looking for some real help here.
Then you should of started by providing real details.

1. How is it an insult? you take things to personally. you said ''All I see is Geforce GTX which could mean any card in the GTX series to me''... Brilliant.. but im sure many other people see something different too...? 2. I have not said too anybody about lacking in intelligence.. other than not being as experienced. ( two different words and meaning ) 3. as said before, why get so mad about providing so many specifics from the get go. i had the idea and said what was on mind at the time. The conversation could have easily then moved on after..
Ok what are the specs of this pc:
I reckon thats a dual-core system, probably and AMD 64 6000x2 3.0Ghz with a radeon x1900 perhaps? Harddrive is probably roughly 320-500gb, would assume the RAM is 4x512mb (2GB). Looks like possinly an ASUS / ASROCK mobo.
1. How is it an insult? you take things to personally.
It is an insult in the way that you assume I am inexperienced with computer hardware because I don't have a database of the exact dimensions and specs of every video card in my memory.
you said ''All I see is Geforce GTX which could mean any card in the GTX series to me''... Brilliant.. but im sure many other people see something different too...?
Exactly other people see differently. You're not aiming your post at "different people" you're hoping for some specific person who can guess hardware on sight and has a database of hardware stored within their brain.
2. I have not said too anybody about lacking in intelligence.. other than not being as experienced. ( two different words and meaning )
2 different words which are relevant to each other. You get experience by doing (and hence learn from your mistakes, or successes).
3. as said before, why get so mad about providing so many specifics from the get go. i had the idea and said what was on mind at the time. Trying to look like he knows what the hardware is just by looking at the picture, while instead he just copy pasted the specs from that site. So much fail, rofl... Acapon, if I was you, right about now I would be feeling totally busted and I would not know how to hide my head in the sand faster! You totally got busted hahaha!
Ok so first of all I've never heard of reverse google whatever.. Secondly all I did was use the resources right under my nose.. Right click facepunch user who posted image, select recently started posts, hey presto! An old post about all the specs there, also I never knew about the google thing so thank for the heads up, something usefull has emerged from the thread! Lols

Lols
I am laughing so hard at (yet again) your ignorance. First you're trying to enforce that you're not "experienced" if you don't have a knowledge of hardware dimensions within your brain. Then you post "gpu looks like an ati 4870 1gb" yet again trying to act smartass and pull off the impression that you guessed that from looking at the image. And then you admit you searched the users post-history, which again doesn't justify anything because as I pointed out earlier, you're the one asking for help. Hence you're the one who should provide specs and other helpful data, instead of expecting other users to run around after you. Also I checked out your post history and at least 75% of it is asking for help with technical faults and building computers (which you're apparently experienced with).
Well I'm glad I could make you laugh, pretty much all of what you said made me chuckle. Especialy When you overlooked the blatant sarcasm of that comment from myself. Running around after me? Hmmm, ofcourse your bang on the money there mate!... Omg you checked my post history! Shitttt im realy in for it now!? 75% huh? Can you give me a more precise percentage as I believe this to be wrong Lol. See what I did there? Sarcasm! Anyways I'm going to let this thread die now whilst I forget I even posted this and rethink how I post the same thing again but worded differently so people don't have to use to much "brain" power to figure out what I'm asking.
Just stop posting holy shit you're digging your hole even deeper you tit.

I don't know much about water cooling and I could careless about you bickering but I would suggest to Acapon to google GPU water cooling guide or water cooling desktop systems and see what you get. Toms hardware and CNET tend to provide some good guides and info on PC building in general. I could deff see you cooling at least one of the GPU's but not sure about the other. I bet someones done it so there is a way...
quite simply the thread of the year right here, got a good laugh out of it.
