• Mic only plays staic

I've got this problem earlier today. When I use my mic in game everyone says all they hear is static. Is there anyway to fix it?
is it only in-game? What's the connector, USB or input jack?

Is there a fan or any kind of air flow going into the mic? Because that does disrupt the mic.
Did you plug it in right?
Try a USB. It might fix it.
