For some reason, Oblivion won't download for shit and pauses/suspends itself, when it does download it's literally at 0 kbs and then quickly suspends. If I press the play button it just gives me the "this game is unavailable" bullshit.

Glad they're actually giving a real incentive to preorder Skyrim through Steam because before this it's pretty terrible. 60$, no boxed copy, no promotional items other than a TF2 hat that's limited to one class that won't be included as a preorder bonus past Monday.
I'm really excited for Skyrim but I definitely think I'll be ordering a CE from Amazon rather than dropping 60$ for a digital copy and a TF2 hat. Unless the main draw is a fucking statue. I absolutely hate that statues are a really common Collector's Edition thing now, I can't do anything with a statue. It's just tacky, looks out of place, and collect's dust on a shelf.
Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Fallout New Vegas all had really nice Collector's Editions. Lot's of nods to things in the game, a real life token from the game, coin/bobblehead/platinum chip.
So here's hoping Skyrim's CE is just as good as all it's predecessors.

Morrowind and Oblivion for $15 is a pretty good deal. Too bad I already own both of them.
