Its interesting that they've managed to keep Rift on a subscription model for so long. I played it during Beta and it was certainly an interesting game, but it didn't hold my attention long enough for me to go and actually buy it.
For a second I thought the title meant Oculus Rift.
I played this for over 700 hours on Steam and it's a brilliant MMO, It is a copy of WoW but the soul system and the story/world is pretty damn awesome.
Also this expansion is fucking huge
I wouldn't say bribed, since multiple other companies do the same thing and we don't call it bribing there.
