• Trying to find Windows Vista X64 Bit

I tried running seven, kept hanging at the "Starting Windows" screen, pissed me off. So I got vista x86 Ultimate installed(Runs Fine), but I have 4 gigaBytes of ram, and it can only use 3.25 of it. The other 750 megaBytes I cannot used with x86. Anyone tell me where I can find a copy of windows vista x64?
I've got a better idea: Let's try to get the 7 working. Did you try installing on boot or did you try installing it within windows?
what he means is that he won't think trying to get it to work will be worth the try, since it's x86 but he misunderstood, I presume your win7 setup is x64
Yes it is.
do you happen to have the specs for that pc? may be a driver issue because of a prebuilt pc with customized parts. if so you may have to slipstream the drivers with the win7 installation. how to do that I cannot tell you.
Specs: AMD X3 Triple Core 8650 2300 MHZ; Socket AM2+ Asus M3A78-CM Mainboard; 4 DDR slots; Socket AM2+ 4 gigaBytes of DDR2 dual channel memory; Unsure what speed. Saphire HD 5670 1 gigaByte PCI-E 2.1 Graphics card passive cooled; 425 watts. 80 gigaByte Maxtor 6L080MT0 ATA Drive. 40 gigaByte SAMSUNG SP0411C /R ATA Drive. 250 gigaByte ST32508224S Ata Drive. 500 GigaByte WDC WD5000AAKB-00HAT0 ATA Drive. TsstCorp CDDVDR SH-S223L ATA Dvd writer. Antec 550 Watt PSU. Currently running windows Vista x86. Custom made. That enough? Did a memory test, 0 errors. Did a deep drive scan, 0 errors.
Issue fixed. I had a fucked strip of ram, and a D-LINK PCI internet card with hardware problems.
