I recently purchased some new wireless headphones. They produce a slight hissing sound and the volume of the hiss changes as you turn the volume on the headphones up. Is this normal? The model is MDR-RF810RK
If you can help, Please do.
Thats standard white noise caused by a bad wireless connection.
Things like tv's and computers can interfere with the signal.
Can you change the channel?
Happens when you get bad headphones. And not "bad" as in "faulty".
I can change the channel, Yes. Is the pair of headphones I got good.
Yup, they're possesed.

Not good. What you got is a creeper in your wireless streams. Get the fuck out of there!

No but seriously, why the hell would you get wireless headphones? The hiss is a white noise, you might want to try a noise canceler or adjusting your spread spectrums in bios. Or, buy something that isn't shitty wireless headphones. Yeah yeah, you might spend more. But quality you have to pay for.

In theory wireless headphones are a good idea. Every pair of headphones I've had has broken because of a weak connection in the wire. But yeah - you do have to pay for quality.
