I just recently got the "virus Protector" rouge program that acts as a very important virus protection, but is fake. Here is a screenshow of it below: it has been... FIXED FIXED FIXED FIXED It displays false messages such as: and Again, these messages are all fake. Basically this rouge program takes over your computer, disabling the task manager, and disabling your desktop. I luckily, have removed (I believe) a part of the program, so now on startup, its starts normally (with the exception of the speed difference). The things I am trying to solve here are: -I am fully connected to the internet but cannot browse Google Chrome error: ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED and for Firefox and IE: "Cannot display this webpage" BUT, I can access steam and chat through it. I think its a probable firewall... -My computer starts about 3x slower now. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED SO PLEASE DO. P.S. I am on a different computer typing this and on the internet, so you don't get all questiony. :)
If i were you, i'd backup all the important data and reformat, just to be sure. There are probably other ways to remove it though.

[editline]01:03PM[/editline] My father now believes that somwhere along the line, my IP connecting adress got changed. He is attempting to fix it while I look for fixes. [editline]01:23PM[/editline] IT HAS BEEN FIXED!!!! The problem was: aVast! antivirus was flipping out with firewalls, so we uninstalled the program. Thanks for trying to help, pebkac.
