• SSD OS Clean install - want old programmes without migration

Hey, just clean installed win10 onto my new SSD and left everything else on my spare HDD (in my pc). As I expected Windows no longer recognises anything in the old HDD's programme files etc meaning I'd have to move them over. Is there away to avoid this? You would have had to clone your old install to the SSD first then upgrade to keep your programs. You can copy paste your steamapps folders and Battle.net games as well if that's what you're looking to recover. I used MiniTool Partition Wizard because it's free, and it worked
