If this has MP than it's not F2P done right at all.
Being able to buy the absolute best equipment outright and shit on other players is unfair to people who could spend weeks trying to get even half the unlocks.
Uh that's a LEGO Marvel or Superheroes or whatever video not Ace Combat.
I'm still pissed that it's not on PC and that unlock system sounds shit, if it was just pay to unlock skins then yeah whatever but it's pretty iffy for unlocks.
There's also the whole fuel system. To play multiplayer missions requires fuel. It comes back over time or you can pay to get more fuel.
Fuck, I'm desperate for another standard Ace Combat game so i'll be all over this game.

If the unlocks are sidegrades, then yes that's a good way to do free to play.
The fuel idea is iffy, but it makes sense since its a free to play and they need to generate some form of money.

Bought Assault horizon because i thought it'd be AC on the PC, it's just a retarded gimped version and i was disappoint. Project Aces, make this game nothing like that!

I was playing this at Eurogamer.
Basically, the gameplay is mostly the same as your common AC gameplay (NONE OF THAT ASSAULT HORIZON SHIT AHAHHA), with a few tweaks+things added (such as a mode that allows you and your co-pilots to target one thing or something, I wasnt sure on how it worked).

The fuel system depends on how much is required and how fast it regenerates, but for the most part I'd honestly say it's a pretty decent way of doing F2P, doesn't actually impede what free players can do in the game, just limits the intervals of time at which they can play.
I love the idea of customizing every aspect of your plane like a car game. I'm pretty hyped
