The 33-year-old was attacked at 3am on Sunday in the Ixelles part of the Belgian capital. A witness spotted the man lying on the floor and came to his aid. He discovered both eyes had been torn out and called the emergency services. The Belgian man, of African origin, was then rushed to hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery. His eyes were discovered at the scene of the attack. He was in a critical condition but is now recovering.
http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/729669/brussels-attack-man-eyes-gouged-out http://www.brusselstimes.com/brussels/6873/suspect-apprehended-after-scratched-the-eyes-of-a-man-out-in-ixelles :nope:
Why the fuck do I even come back to sensationalist headlines? This is the kind of shit that fuels my fear of strangers/people.
Fucking hell. Poor guy. Who the fuck would do such a thing?
Were his eyes reattached? If that's even possible
This is legitimately horrifying and i'm glad they caught this scum. Apparently this was a dispute between two individuals, one from Belgium and the other from Holland, about their African countries of origin. [editline]8th November 2016[/editline]
Were his eyes reattached? If that's even possible
as far as I remember gone is gone far as eyes are concerned, he's blind
He'll get his eyes back but sadly he'll be blind for the rest of his life.
If his eyes where gouged out, the optical never is going to be pretty torn up, not much chance he'll be able to see even with new eyes.

I'm glad he's still alive. I know he's most likely gonna be blind for the rest of his life, but he's lucky to be alive.
how du u tear out an eyeball cuz i tried that before with a deer head and that shit is hard as fuck to do even with tools
I'd honestly sooner die then loose my eyesight. Everything I've ever had interest in would be impossible.
Holy hell this is some movie horror stuff. How can you even do this to another human being?
Why the fuck do I even come back to sensationalist headlines? This is the kind of shit that fuels my fear of strangers/people.
News is a 24hr depressathon.
how du u tear out an eyeball cuz i tried that before with a deer head and that shit is hard as fuck to do even with tools
Why were you trying to gouge out a deer's eyes?
Why were you trying to gouge out a deer's eyes?
Probably a bored teenager that went hunting. When I was in Biology in high school, we did dissections on animals and a good 40% of the class the first thing they did was pry out the eyeballs.
He acknowledged having been in a fight with the victim, but could not categorically confirm that he had taken the latter's eyes out.
Hard to imagine what led to it. I'm betting the perpetrator isn't entirely sane.

Saw a guy in a bar once getting an eyeball kicked out. He was suprisingly calm.

Minding your business when suddenly one minute later you are attacked and blinded for the rest of your life. What. the. fuck.
Saw a guy in a bar once getting an eyeball kicked out. He was suprisingly calm.
Probably it was a fake eye.
Saw a guy in a bar once getting an eyeball kicked out. He was suprisingly calm.
I thought of that Deadwood scene except on mute
Hehe, I know a guy who tore a piglet's skull off clean Meanwhile we shoved a pencil up its ass and out its mouth
i didn't realize FP was full of psychopaths
Hehe, I know a guy who tore a piglet's skull off clean Meanwhile we shoved a pencil up its ass and out its mouth
I bet you also shatter conch shells for fun
Hehe, I know a guy who tore a piglet's skull off clean Meanwhile we shoved a pencil up its ass and out its mouth
This is not something to be proud of.
how du u tear out an eyeball cuz i tried that before with a deer head and that shit is hard as fuck to do even with tools
wtf is wrong with you
I'd honestly sooner die then loose my eyesight. Everything I've ever had interest in would be impossible.
You'd be surprised at how quickly you adapt and find meaning in other hobbies. Not to mention your other senses become extremely heightened and can open your mind to new abilities. I'm slowly going blind due to irreversible damage due to glaucoma, and no surgery or medication can fully prevent the process. I'll likely be blind by the time I'm in my 50's and I've come to accept that, and am getting all the fun stuff out of the way so I can focus on literature, music, and helping the blind community once I fully lose my eyesight.
