Hard drive partitioner like GParted, but isn't GParted?

I'm trying to install windows on my PC but it's refusing to do so unless I have an MBR on it and Windows installer doesn't seem to be able to create an MBR on my primary hard disk, even though I've deleted all partitions and formatted etc etc etc. GParted has never actually worked for me as it won't boot from two DVDs or the Live USB I created for it which is why I can't use that. Anyone got any tools I can use for this? (Live USB preferred, but i can manage Live CD's) Also preferred(if applicable) would be OS X programs since I don't have a Windows PC readily available atm
