Piracy within the music industry is inevitable. If there is high demand for a track/album/release, people will find a way to get it for free. No matter how many sites you block.

In worst case they just download it from youtube.
In worst worst case, stream it from youtube with adblock on.
The BPI feels that the blocks currently in force have "significantly reduced the use of those sites in the UK".
No, it really hasn't.
BPI told to go fuck itself.
and 21 one new sites just opened.
Never heard of any of those sites, except I think Filestube
and 21 one new sites just opened.
We don't want those crappy 21 one new sites. Original please.
oh noooo
now i have to use one of the 20 already bookmarked mirror sites
god bless magnets
Torrentz and torrentzdownloads are useful :( this isnt fair
Where one falls another 20 will rise.
people create alternative urls for blocked sites... for example pirateproxy.se takes me to pirate bay and it works with my vpn turned off
I hate to say this because it sounds like the slippery slope argument but FilesTube is a search engine that just searches for a narrow set of sites.
It isn't much different to putting in certain queries into Google..
God damnit I use FilesTube all the time to find shit, gotta find a proxy for that now too.
"1337x"
really I mean come on
really?
Thank god datacenters do not have to abide by these restrictions. I can just SSH into one of my machines and there goes these petty restrictions.

terrible name but it's actually a good site
on topic though: this is dumb, do you know how many piratebay proxy sites there are? there is literally no point in blocking these sites because you can get around them instantly
Fucks sake. Bitsnoop.
Meh, I just use a private Squid proxy I configured on my server limited to just my IP to access anything blocked.
It's almost as if I were to torrent something I wouldn't buy in the first place!
