premium knife, black dog tag, soldier camos, weapon camos, extra Assignments, and more.
Wow sounds awesome shut up and take my money!!!
Developers have already been having serious talks with battlefieldo on the topic of rumor spreading. If you're a trusted community site, please don't write the first and most sensational thing someone tells you.
Whelp, the game was nice while it lasted. This is worse than CoD's membership thing, assuming those assignments grant weapons or actual game-changing things.
Ah well rather have worthless crap that nobody will pay for than a $10 full auto nuke launcher that only kills the enemy team
As if its bad enough I spend $60 on the game just to deal with orgin, now I have to pay another fee or even maybe a monthly fee? No thank you. Go fuck yourself EA.
Oh for fuck sake the game is already unbalanced enough as it is.
Its funny because Dice were mocking COD for Elite when it was announced
Its funny because Dice were mocking COD for Elite when it was announced
Yes, but it's EA that wants this. I'm pretty sure DICE doesn't want to do this.
EA and your goddamn greed.
EA being monkey milking dickbags? Not a big surprise.
Could be worse.
Yes, but it's EA that wants this. I'm pretty sure DICE doesn't want to do this.
Should have thought of that before they took EA's bags of cash.
And here, dear ladies and gentlemen, we can see Electronic Arts ruining yet another great game franchise.
As long as they never include any weapons or items that you can only get by being a member I don't care if people have pointless gun camos soldier camos and black dog tags. I don't mind if they are just getting pointless crap they don't need but when they start adding maps, weapons and gadgets to it I will be pist off. I don't care all that much for assignments personally as long as they don't give you weapons for them. Although I still don't like this one bit. I paid lots of money for this game and I will probably be buying the second dlc for the big maps vehicle warfare. But when they say hey if you want everything else you now have to pay a monthly fee they can fuck off for all I care that is just customer abuse and I don't like it one bit.
Those are cosmetics, so I don't give a shit.
I will be happy to play as long as it stays that way I will only be giving them the finger if they start adding weapons and other actual useful things that will make the game more fun.
Meh, i barely play it now right now anyway, ill probably just wait for a "Battlefield Expansion Box" or whatever to release before i think about getting dlc.
Unless something changes, we're heading into a video game dark age
but guys listen guys its different guys because its not call of duty guys listen its better!!
Those are cosmetics, so I don't give a shit. Yes, Battlefield Premium might have some services that probably wouldn't justify its soon-to-be-announced pricetag, but considering that the program is entirely optional for hardcore Battlefield fans, I don't see a problem with it. However, if the assignments will reward you with new weapons, then yes, it's a problem.
The issue is that if something like this is actually successful then they may be willing to take it that far. I've loved every Battlefield game so far but if whatever comes after Battlefield 3 uses a service like this then I won't be buying.
Wow really EA? Copying Elite? How smooth.
It's pretty funny how EA mocks Activision about their subscription service, only to follow in their footsteps. How the Battlefield franchise became so much worse after 2142. Stay classy EA.
Wow really EA? Copying Elite? How smooth.
Elite wasn't the first premium service for a video game.
If I was a rich billionaire I'd buy DICE from EA and make them independent
...........OH FUCK OFF EA!
just don't use battlefield premium, guys the main game itself will still be free to play if you don't use that if we boycott battlefield premium then it's kinda showing that bf premium is a bad idea
Rumor

Anonymous source
Sounds legitimate, better start bashing EA and saying that Battlefield is dead.
They continue to work on this shit instead of fixing the game. I can't even play the campaign because I have the overly common glitch of the game freezing the character in place at the beginning of the first level.
DICE probably has nothing to do with this. If it's really EA, weren't they mocking about Elite?
Its funny because Dice were mocking COD for Elite when it was announced
Remember around last E3 when EA would make some jab at Activision or CoD and everyone would be like "Yeah! You tell 'em EA!" and everyone was more or less on EA's side? I think it's a testament to EA's competence and sheer PR talent that they've managed to take themselves from the role of anti-Activision underdog to the most hated company by ever gamer in the span of less than a year.
