Graphics card error? Whatever it is my computer isn't working correctly.

So I was testing a map I made for Garrysmod in Counter-Strike:Source, right? I go to close down the game and all of a sudden the graphics mess up, and the computer shuts down. Now when I say the graphics messed up I mean it looked like a 5 year old spammed colors on a screenshot using the paint fill tool in MSpaint. Anyone know what may have caused this?
Graphics card is a Nvidia 7300, I have a 3GHz processor.
It's intel btw.
Pretty sure the Graphics Card could be dying, I would check out the temperatures as well.
I would check it, but it won't go past the loading.
Even when it's starting up there's some weird blue lines all across the screen vertically.
Like you said, the graphics may be dying...
update drivers, reinstall drivers, possible problem running a orangebox engine level on an ep1

Alright well thanks for trying guys. I'd have to say the graphics card is definitely burnt out.
Thanks anyways.
Levels compiled on the Orangebox engine are not compatible with CSS (Ep1 engine)
Gmod is on the OB engine
HAve you tried simply reseating the card?
I've had 2 Ati Cards and 1 Nvidia card and 1 MAtrox Card die in this way, Memory goes bad and the display just goes spastic coloured then dies and fails to boot.
If anyone ever get's this with an onboard gpu, Try swapping your ram sticks round, can sometimes fix it.
