Basically what are some good synthetic benchmarks for testing CPU and RAM to benchmark after an overclock? I'm not sure exactly what I'm after (which is why I'm asking here), I just wanna be able to see every little change I make resulted in a benchmark result so I can experiment and find what gives me the best performance.
SuperPi [editline]5th January 2011[/editline] Or just browse this: http://files.extremeoverclocking.com/browse.php?c=1
I'd definitely go with superpi
super pi is outdated, get hyper pi. For stress testing i use prime95, it's simple and it works.
Well yes hyper-pi is good but what about memory only benchmarks?
well to test the heat limit I use Prime95

I don't need stability testing, I need benchmarking software for cpu AND memory so i can experiment my way towards optimum performance.
PCMark and 3DMark - http://www.futuremark.com/download/ There's free trials for both.
