The procedurally generated golf courses seem preety preety cool, and the game looks decent(atleast graphically) but eh , it's just golf.
Procedual generation is an ingenious idea. No two maps the same is always a good selling point.
Procedural generation of courses: Yay! Pretty shiny graphics: Woot Price tag: $30 for what still is golf at the end of the day is just a bit steep for me right now :| But I want to keep an eye on this, because sometimes I just kind of am in the mood for golf, and Links is really getting old like oh my god. :v: And fuck the Tiger Woods series.
I find golf games a lot of fun for some reason. The random courses and map editor really sells me on it.
There's still a market for golf games?
would be cool as hell to play this with a real club only with motion sensing installed but you know would be way cooler? you know... actually playing golf

actually playing golf
6 miles of walking when playing a round of golf, carrying that heavy bag around, too. Nah, I'll pass It also costs between $50 and $100 to play a round of golf where I live. I'd rather buy this for $30 and not walk anywhere, and get to play in my underwear to boot
This with some VR and a fancy controller may be fun. Auto-level generation is a pretty smart idea for a golf game too.
it would be nice if you could generate courses with a seed so they're replayable/sharable, isn't learning courses important in golf?
Did anyone play Hot Shots Golf 4? Remember the Mini-Golf mode and how it was 100x better than the actual game and there was only 1 goddamn course? I want a really good mini-golf game that encourages extreme precision and a little bit of creativity with little tricks that you can do to get the best score possible. I get really bored of "realistic" golf games.
Procedurally-generated courses may be cool, but as someone who used to play Tiger Woods PGA Tour heaps, most of the replayability from golf games comes from RPG elements rather than the courses themselves. The courses definitely make the game, but player progression and customisation, as well as a variety of side activities are what made me the biggest fan of PGA tour.
check out http://store.steampowered.com/app/272890/ if you're into mini golf, i haven't played it but it looks cool
