Good, I've heard nothing but good stuff about this game so I'm glad there's going to be more content on the way when I get it.

Also another to put out there, the developers have considered mod support later on. :joy:

Sounds really familiar, hope they don't go back on their promise like a certain other developer who also made a Left4Dead inspired coop game did...

I've no idea what game you guys are referring to.
On topic, I'm glad they're willing to support the game with actual content, instead of "content" (i.e, skins you have to pay for etc.). Haven't played the game, but I might consider buying it. Looks fun.

To be honest I think they're referring to Valve. Valve promised updates and support for the original game but they gave us L4D2 instead.

The devs promised in very clear language that no microtransactions would be added to the game. Then during an event that just ended which is supposed to be all about free new content and community fun, they started it by adding microtransactions, then quietly ignored all negative feedback.
Oh. I don't know why I didn't think of that.
I never even understood why people were so pissed at Payday 2 having micro transactions. There was already a gigantic amount of trash DLC available. I don't see what the big difference is.

"Since one form of greed was already there, it's okay if there's more."

because you pay for the game, than pay 100$ for all the dlc, than theres stat-boosting microtransactions. too much.
This is extremely pleasing. Even though it runs like piss and looks like mud on my craptop, it's a very enjoyable game.

But the DLC was already too much imo

Valve still gave like 3 or 4 DLC packs for L4D1. The problem is that Valve realized they can't develop as much DLC as TF2 gets because L4D requires more testing and money to be put into creation. It's also one of the reasons why they started developing Source 2.
