• Putting up a source dedicated server with the Dlink DI-524 Router
    2 replies, posted
For years I have been wanting to put up a server for Counter strike, Hl2 DM, Garry's mod and Team fortress 2, but I've never really been able to. Only with shear luck, 1/100 times the server would go up. A year ago I found my router on Port Forward, and it said I needed to set up a static IP, and at the time I didn't know how, so I didn't. Now I would like to, but apparently they took down the page for my router for source games, and I can't figure out how to forward my ports or do anything to set up my server so it is online and not just LAN. I have a DLink, di-524 wireless router, and I would really appreciate it if someone could help me set up this router so I can put up a tf2 server or anything.

Oh wow, I was choosing every other source thing and it told me it wasn't possible. Thank you.
