I went to the music store today, bought two sph901b fat cat humbuckers for my new guitar, and a Marshall MG15FX Amplifier, and I'm completely satisfied, no regrets, the amplifier, compared to my crate gfx-20 is phenomenal, its got four channels, Clean/Crunch, and Overdrive/Megadrive (thats what I call it, it's like overdrive, but on steroids) 3 band EQ, reverb knob, four built in effects, volume and a master volume control, MP3 3.5mm input for playing music/ backing tracks, another 3.5mm input for headphones, gain knob, and as for the actual sound of the amp? its also phenomenal (expected from Marshall, even though its a small amp) every single channel is satisfying, especially laying down an amazing solo on megadrive (again thats what I call it) the clean channel is amazingly clear (especially if you know how to use the EQ) and the crunch channel gives me that wide, yet still punchy, Green Day American Idiot kind of tone, that is so satisfying to listen to (for me) and as for the two phat cat humbuckers, I have not installed them yet, because my aunt is going to help me with that (shes been playing guitar for about 40 years, in fact shes coming out with an album this year) anyway I'm looking forward to that alot, I'll post my results sometime...
Ehmmm, I don't think this warrants its own thread and would be more likely to fit as a post in the Guitar Discussion Thread in the Music Section. But rock on anyway , good luck with your new gear.
Sorry about that, my bad, but thanks anyways
I stay well away from analog amplifiers especially with FX built in, as they are almost always sub par to boards and pedals. All-Tube or nothing. edit: **I meant Solid State**

Today I bought a bass and a Fender amp. Does that count?

I have the half-stack version of that amp and I absolutely love it.
