• All folders on 2nd drive is read-only

Hi folks. OS: Windows 8 Pro 64-bit. Something has gone weird over the past few days. All the folders on my 2nd drive (Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB) is Read-Only. Note: My OS drive is my SSD (Samsung 830 128GB). I have tried to take ownership of the folders, setting everything to read-only and then unchecking the attribute and it still forces read-only on the folders. I have created new folders and they are forced to read-only after I create them. Note: This ONLY affects folders. Files such as pics, vids, .exe's are working normally and don't show the attribute. I have done anti-virus scans, MalwareByte scans, CHKDSK's. Checked SMART data. The drive is not dying. Drive is not shared on the network and to make sure, I turned off file/folder sharing in the "Networking and Sharing Center" Any help would be appreciated. If you need more information, I will be glad to provide it :)
