Hey guys, I picked up some adware that suddenly appeared out of nowhere bit me in the fucking face. I'm using Avast and another antivirus thing and whenever I manage to remove the offending bugs, they just come right back in bigger numbers. Bunch of adware tracking cookies.
Anyways, any suggestions for a semi-literate?
Do you have usb storage plugged in? If so scan that too.

Scanned every removable disk slot and drive I could multiple times, same thing.

It's also making my internet connection unbearably slow.
Then if you can't get rid of it reformat.
