Anyone else find it hella confusing that the two (count 'em..) TWO upcoming XCOM games are never mentioned in the same place?
Taken from the wiki page for XCOM:
Regarding the game's move away from the strategy genre, 2K Games president Christoph Hartmann said "strategy games are just not contemporary."
And yet 2K are also publishing a game from Firaxis which is not only a strategy game, but also looks to be much more of a stable and considered concept - XCOM: Enemy Unknown.
Personally I'd love to see an FPS game set in the XCOM continuum, but I do think they need to make their minds up one way or another.
Boggles my brain, dunno about you.

I remember being so confused about UFO: Enemy Unknown and XCOM: UFO Defense as a kid. I thought they were two different games, and I had trouble understanding why the name would change between countries. This is kinda similar, especially because both games are being published by 2K, and both have eliminated the hyphen in the XCOM title.
