I'm trekking 212 miles accross Scotland for charity, and I need your help.

I've been a member of Facepunch for over 4 years, and amongst the "sea of piss" I've seen some really inspiring and heart warming examples of charity and human kindness. I'm humbly requesting one more, I need you to sponsor me and help raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust.
In 20 days time, I (along with a small group of friends) am going on a 212 mile adventure through some of the toughest terrain the UK has to offer. Along the way we'll be facing the infamous Loch Ness Monster, the [url=http://www.undiscoveredscotland.co.uk/usfeatures/midges/]dreaded killer midge[/url], and the harsh, constantly changing climate of the Scottish Highlands.

I've got faith in you Facepunch, and I know what we're capable of. The smallest amount can change lives. If everybody donated £1 I'd raise a colossal amount of money, it's a small sacrifice to pay.

EDIT: I've currently received about £142 donations from Facepunch alone, which is fantastic.
Also, I'm pretty sure I'm going to do the entire trip in my kilt!

Yeah, we're canoeing across the lochs and canals for some of the way too. All the info is on the just giving page.
Plus, the point is that it's going to be really hard. 11 days of hard work and endurance are nothing compared to a life affected by cancer.
I really want to smash my target of £300 but I can only do it with your help.
You could try tweeting it or posting on reddit but we all know what the servers are like when reddit get involved.

Well, there used to be a statue of Mel Gibson as William Wallace (rather than William Wallace as himself) at the Wallace monument, so I guess so.

Braveheart was shot mainly in Ireland but they're pretty similar.
If you mean the people... then yes, we're exactly like braveheart. We all carry broadswords and shit... cleave ye in twain if you get on our nerves.

I still fucking love this picture... it's all taken away now though.
To be honest I always hated that statue, not because it's of william wallace... but it's more about the film than our history.
I'd donate some money but I don't have any, so have some encouraging words instead.

Added that website to the OP, for those interested it'll give you lots of neat info and pictures on Scotland. I'm getting pretty pumped after looking at all the scenery photographs, cant wait to get lots of shots.
