• Anyone have a spare Windows 7 product key?
    27 replies, posted
I bought some parts for my new build but I don't have enough money for windows. Now correct me if I'm wrong but the boxed retail versions of windows 7 have unlimited use of their product keys on any computer. I don't mean to beg, but if anyone has any retail versions of windows 7 lying around, could I use the product key? Mods: If this is against the forum rules, please tell me. Trial version until you have the dough.
find some good Linux distros Or just use a trial
Just use the trial, I don't know what's different except genuine things and annoying activation reminders at startup [editline]3rd December 2010[/editline] Didn't mean to rate myself, accidents happen on iphones

"does anyone have 100€ to give me without any reason ?" You can get up to 120 days of Win7 trial with slmgr /rearm
I can give you a MSDN key for Windows 7 Ultimate if you are willing to give something else in return :colbert:
But constantly reformatting to keep using a trial is borderline illegal.
And how would anyone know that you have been engaging in such activity?
Linux is worse than mac. Not a good idea in my opinion.
Linux is friggin' awesome once you get used to it. I plan to put it on a second HDD at some point.
you'r probably not gonna get a spare win7 key. that stuff is expensive!
Linux is worse than mac. Not a good idea in my opinion.
It's getting increasingly user friendly by the day. It's excellent for a free OS, though if he's building the computer for the purpose of gaming, it's not worth going with Linux.
Linux is worse than mac. Not a good idea in my opinion.
Mac is Linux you genius. It's nothing more than flash BSD. Everyone that disagrees doesn't know shit about Linux.
Mac is Linux you genius. It's nothing more than flash BSD.
Mac OS is based on Unix, which is NOT Linux by any means.
Note; A retail license allows you to install Windows 7 on one PC at any one time. As such if you have multiple PC's you need multiple licenses.
Mac is Linux you genius. It's nothing more than flash BSD.
Mac OS is based on Darwin, which is based on BSD, which is certainly notLinux The only common point BSD and Linux have is UNIX
Mac OS is based on Darwin, which is based on BSD, which is certainly notLinux The only common point BSD and Linux have is UNIX
Mac is most certainly BSD based, which is essentially nothing more than Linux.
Mac is most certainly BSD based, which is essentially nothing more than Linux.
WAT :byodood: you gotta be kidding
Mac is most certainly BSD based, which is essentially nothing more than Linux.
BSD isn't Linux, but both are Unix-based.

[editline]lol[/editline] What a pathetic offer that was.

Willing to trade you a upgrade key for your computer! even willing to show you how to do a fresh install with it!
Just buy it for fucks sake.
Install Ubuntu or Linux on it until you can afford windows.
