If this means I finally get a new Homeworld that's good
I'm happy
I'm so excited for Shipbreakers, and knowing the devs, they'll take all the best opportunities for it.
My dream is one massive campaign map, sprinkled with settlements, wrecks, and other salvage crews. In a perfect world, you buy a contract to go to a wreck, travel for a while to get there, then go up against a rival crew who is doing the same, with an overarching set of story missions to do as the situation demands.
Even if that doesn't happen, I'm sure this game will go into my top 20 games list.
I'm not sure how much this is going to relate to Homeworld as it doesn't seem to be space-based, but more ground-based. Even if it doesn't play like the Homeworld games, it definitely sounds interesting.
The best thing about this is that the original makers of Homeworld will have the opportunity to make a true Homeworld 3 eventually when Ship Breakers is done.
I don't like the name "Shipbreakers".

Not every Kiith can afford Imperator or Explorer class command ships. If you've read the Cata lore, you'll remember that there's a lot of clans living hand-to-mouth in the post landfall period.
