That is pretty
I might actually play this game once it's been developed a bit further
loving the progress they're making
Wow this is the first update for me that actually looks quite interesting
Hopefully the rehaul will remove a majority of the "OMG MILITARY GRADEH" weapons or at least make them less common in comparison to homemade rifles and machine guns. I'd personally just take inspiration from South America and the Philippines:

The Firearm Blog has a whole section dedicated to homemade/black market firearms. It's pretty amazing how certain towns and regions have their own families of submachine gun designs. One thing that would be cool is if Rust adopted a system where theirs multiple submachine guns, and depending on the region you reside in, you'll build a certain type of machine gun.
I can already imagine things like the Luty, Mierte, Wombat, and few other patterns that could be adopted into the game.
Yes there’s no actual benefit to rubbing mud all over your cock and balls. But maybe you want to do that. And yes, putting tires on yourself like this still leaves you unprotected in many other areas. But the whole thing is about improvising. You don’t have real clothes. You don’t have much stuff. You don’t have to smear mud on yourself if you don’t want to. You don’t have to put tires on your head of you don’t want to. Your choice.
Seeing whats going to be makes me all the more glad I've been on a break from Rust since February. Trying to bring yourself to play a game you are burnt out on but now has new, interesting things is not a fun experience, so I'm glad I avoided that.
HTML Menus
Awesomium is one of the main reasons why GMod crashes so much, especially on OS X and Linux. I really don't think it is worth it.
Though it may be better in Unity.
By that logic Chrome should not support HTML pages either

the more graphically advanced it gets, the less kids can run it on their mum's laptops :v:

Awesomium is still pretty shitty in terms of UI middleware but not for that reason. In the many times I've tried it performance has been sub-par, especially once you introduce your own Javascript calls that go back into your game code - performance there might be even worse when you're also dealing with managed code in Unity.
Coherent UI looks promising as it's specifically for games but I haven't tried it as they seemingly revise their licensing terms every week.

HTML is lovely, it's a system everyone already knows so there is no reason to use a new proprietary markup.
