It was bad enough that they literally canceled the title the day of release and had a recall on all of the disks.

look at 2K, they even managed to include euroleague

Were these ever supposed to be good games to be taken seriously? They always seem to inhabit the Shame-Pit of terrible games bin in the middle of any store that sells video games.

They have always been about charging you another $60 or whatever the normal retail tier is for a barely-updated repackage of last year's game. The reason they ended in the Box of Retail Shame is because they would be obsolete in about 9 months when the buzz for the next title starts from promotional sources.

Who the hell does this at launch and not just before they start making the discs?
