Where did you download the graphic drivers from? Go to your laptop manufacturers site and find them there if you haven't done so.
This problem occurs on every version. Wish I never upgraded. [editline]28th January 2012[/editline] [QUOTE=GreenDolphin;34422683]Where did you download the graphic drivers from? [editline]28th January 2012[/editline] That didn't work either. Would a system restore fix this issue? I HOPE SO. [editline]28th January 2012[/editline] Ok that seemed to work, but now Skyrim still doesn't detect it.
Funny. I have an Acer laptop, and I've just been using the Verde drivers from Nvidia.
couple of things you should try first A: try downloading the beta (290) driver, for some reason the standard drivers (285) don't work with my video card but the beta ones work perfectly B: check that you are downloading 'notebook/integrated' drivers and not just the standard drivers as the standard ones won't work
Acer is really bad about this. My friend had an acer laptop with an nvidia card, but acer made it so that regular nvidia drivers wouldn't work.
Back when I had an Acer, I had to download the ATI drivers and they didn't work. Was using a year old driver from the laptop and it pissed me off to no end.
Try drivers from Laptop Video 2 Go.
