• Need help finding a short 5.25 DVD drive

So I've changed my case as the other one broke (and that's why you don't have it close to your feet when playing Payday 2...), and it was in need of an upgrade anywho. Everything's been transferred and shit but sadly the DVD drive collides with one of the side case fans in my so very carefully planned positive pressure airflow setup. With such a small yet infuriating problem, I was wondering if anyone knows of any cheap DVD drives that are shorter then 5.5in in depth (compared to the common 6.5in) that I can get in the UK. I'd rather not have an external drive as it's loose and that kinda thing really pisses me off (OCD). Cheers.
That sounds like an idea, just need to find one which has an adaptation for a lower half button (if that makes sense).
Sadly that won't do it, as the case itself has a front panel for one of those DVD drives with a bumper on it. It's hard to explain, but here's a link to my case (I would rather post a picture but I'm not at home right now).
It would probably be cheaper to buy a new case instead of trying to find a new CD drive to fit non standard specs [editline]26th March 2015[/editline] Are you sure a standard 5.25 wont fit? The specs of the case lists it has one of them. -- Miss read, also didnt notice post time oops http://www.scan.co.uk/products/liteon-24x-internal-dvd-rw-optical-disc-drive-retail-kit-sata-525-black-ihas324-17 is a 5.25' one so it should fit according to the specs
Yeah I'm afraid it won't. I contacted Scan about it and they don't have any short DVD drives. It's mainly due to the way I've done my water cooling as the block just gets in the way (which isn't the smartest way I could have done it, but it's the only orientation that I could get it to fit).
