Overall the changes will make the medium class less blitzkrieg and the other two more enjoyable, should be more appealing to the general public.

I always wondered why people say that about less populated games 'I'm not gonna play it cause not a lot of people play it' it's kinda hypocritical. Besides if you were to download right now theres a good chance you'll find a server to play on with no problems

Maybe I'll try this game again. I'm always put off by how overwhelming it is though, there's a lot to do and the enemy team always seems to know exactly what that is

Try to ignore people bitching at you, if you're not sure what you're doing just take some other implants, find enemy, kill enemy. that way you can learn the 'meatspace' part of the map without your team heavily depending on you knowing what to do.
usually an objective that requires you to jack into cyberspace goes like this:go to a certain node, disable security and press a button. And all this as fast as you can before the other team respawns and kills you all. You can watch other people do it on the screen, but make sure be ready to deffend the guy.
I always loved Dystopia.
