Just got Windows 7, and Quite happy with it. Discuss.
It is the best program i have ever touched and felt gracefully.
It is the best program i have ever touched and felt gracefully.
i like the sarcasm in that sentence
It's not taken to kindly 'round these parts.
Its the best version (/Sarcasm)
Draw a circle by hand! I dare you!
It is the best program i have ever touched and felt gracefully.
Your sentence is positively DRIPPING with sarcasm....
Ahhhhh paint, the ghetto PGIMP... Because GIMP is the ghetto Photoshop. So due to some quick logic and many years of schooling you should get that Paint is 2 times the ghetto version of Photoshop
Crappy AA, and no option to disable it. The brushes have terrible turnin also.
I like xp/vista paint better. 7 Paint isn't really gradient friendly, gotta uncheck the lock aspect ratio every time u horizontal resize. Pain in the butt. The over all look to it is pretty cool, but I would prefer the more classic paint.
I did like the XP version, I guess the Windows 7 version is just not native to me yet.........
It's shite, and I have windows 7. It's also difficult to get the XP version to work on Win 7 :frown: I just got it to work but it can't save anything.

Line tool got in my way , and the Brush tool messed up each time I tried it. [editline]07:45PM[/editline] Considering I have gotten' my new computer , I had to take Paint 7 out and go in with MSPaint XP Version.
Anyone else have some problems with the fill tool? It leaves pixels of white where my black outlines and color meet, destroying any creative idea I had going in my head. Can't figure out how to use layers because I thought it was the only other way to color easily, now I'm starting to think that there aren't layers. Some of the brushes are cool to mess around with, but I was too used to the XP Version. Sticking with old paint.
We have to remember This is Paint we are talking about, a free graphic editing tool, and Yeah XP's Paint was awesome, but it had its.... MILLION FLAWS but it was easy to use, and i think windows 7 tried to make it complicated and abit like photoshop, but they failed miserably, and should of stuck with its easy to use nature.
Maybe you should try to use vista paint :v: But then again i have no clue what im talking about.
Vista paint is good, but i find XP paint to be much better......
Thank you :h::h:
Can I see a screen-shot comparison of the versions?
I don't have an XP paint screenshot, but I whipped together this Win 7 paint screenshot.
That sentence above sure puts you thinking. As for the paint7, I have win7 meself and I just had to download that xp paint for the sake of environmental welfare. People who "developed" that hazardous bucket of night soil had to be out of their fucking minds.
Win7 Paint = A-A. No point doing anything in it, the usage of MS Paint is so that we can avoid anti-aliasing in the first place.
You could always, you know, use the pencil and the brush tool without AA Just a thought.
The only thing that annoys me is the AA, other than that I'm perfectly fine with it.
Im totally not fine with the layout and general difference from xp paint. Doing straight lines for example is twice as annoying in paint7.
Doing straight lines for example is twice as annoying in paint7.
I do agree with this, those little nodes that appear just get in the way in most cases
That antialiasing. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
