• Turn off admin (Yes it is different)

I am currently the only user on this laptop of mine, it came with administrater on there and I do not like it. Every time I start up steam or xfire I have to give permission, I know I can just set each program to run freely but I would like to turn it off. I want it gone. (The kid who made that other thread just wanted to look at porn.) I googled this and have failed to find a straight forward answer on how to turn it off. Can some list, in order, the steps I need to follow to turn it off? (Also, I did not see the answer in the other thread, I made this thread since everyone thought that kid had just wanted to by pass it too look at porn)
Windows Key>Control Panel>Type UAC in the search>Click "Turn User Account Control (UAC) on or off">Restart computer, and your done
Was the whole thing to get me to go to google and find out off of one of those links? :x It took me to google when I did. But thanks anyway. [editline]08:31PM[/editline] That is popping up even when I click the X, when I click the X it goes away, then back up in like 4 seconds.
Just close it. In about a week it'll stop popping up.
Simple, turn UAC back on and and Under behavior of elevation prompt for Admins in Admin Approval mode just select "Elevate Without Prompting" So Start > Run > secpol.msc > Security Options > Behavior of the Elevation Prompt for Administrators in Admin Approval Mode > Elevate Without Prompting
That's because you're more computer savvy than me. I decided to turn it back on. I don't like the sound of viruses.
