yeah, but when your poor, ironlak is a better choice. hah
eh its hardly that expensive
if it want cheap ill just get whatever the regular montana cans are called or more likely molotow premium
[editline]2nd November 2011[/editline]
but thats rare because its usually a good idea to invest in decent paint
i dont really have an interest in doing it in public, but i'd like to try the medium. what would i wanna do it on?
recommendations on supplies/methodology?

i bought a big wooden board to practice on, simple and cheap. need a big shed to store it in though because i can't just leave it outside
then... roll on some paint just to prepare the surface because spraying on wood can get weird. and grab some paint and off you go, play around. I recommend montana or molotow for good paint brands

go to homedepot/lowes, get yourself a big piece of plywood, about 10ft by 5ft, for starters
get some ironlak (montana is a bit pricy for starters)
and plan plan plan, look around on the internet, sketch it out on paper.
and most of all practice

not cool man, people who are cool enough to open up a shop, or even sell graff supplies deserve money for their products
what are you 11?
thanks!
man i am getting sick and tired of paying $30 for a pack of POSCA's, im beggining to realize that there are a lot better markers out there for cheap. there's really no reason to spend that much money on supplies for silly little slaptags. i found that Craftsmart has markers of POSCA quality, and there like $5 for a pack of 3
just a tip for those close to there wallet
broad pilot super color marker

the best
i almost find markers too expensive, especially paint markers. i had a krink squeezy bottle and i used it up in like 2 days. shit sucks.
thanks!
in terms of paint, any art paint will do really. just whatever you do dont use car paint or something. look up the difference between high and low pressure paints, take a look on youtube at different types of caps and decide what you like the look of. With that you'll be all set to make an informed decision on what paint you want. I reccomend a beginner get both high and low pressure paints because its just a matter of personal preference.
also blank nametags are the shit, i got a pack of 300 for $3.25
id love to get my own stickers printed at some point.
yeah slaptags are fun when your bored and feel like writing a bit
