http://www.megaupload.com/?d=NRVKQ54O better link: http://www.4shared.com/video/4vi1pF1T/cero.html and another http://www.swfcabin.com/open/1287872714 I made my first flash animation today :D What do you think? Also, I need to know a way to get the beam to just get smaller without changing shape a bit as it does in the video. Thanks
Upload the .swf to a .swf hosting service like http://www.swfcabin.com/ so we don't need to download anything
1. Needs sound 2. -snip-
My fucking god that was horrible
meh. could've been worse.
I kinda liked it, being your first animation and all. Needs work certainly, but not as horrible as people are making it out to be.
That was shit.
obviously, nothing much happens as is expected from a first animation first of all, most people learn it the hard way, but don't show anyone your practice animations. keep them to yourself, but keep practicing.
Yer, just keep practicing. Read up on tutorials, there are plenty of really helpful ones around. And when you feel you understand enough go and watch some of the pro animations like Adam Phillips' work and think about how they did something and try to recreate it.
Laser horns, cool.
Well that certainly beats my first flash animation. Anyways, keep on faffing about. Are you learning this by yourself, or are you going to a school?

Well he did better than me http://linuxfp.deviantart.com/#/d30al2k and that's only tweening
1. Needs sound 2. The play button and replay button need a white box around it so it's easier to click on.
The "white box" he's talking about is the hit box you'll find inside of your button.
Spend more than a day on an animation. Spend at least a month of effort on it and see what you get. It'll still probably be crap, but that's expected when starting out with anything.
The "white box" he's talking about is the hit box you'll find inside of your button.
Yeah, the hitbox on the replay button is actually quite big, but I thought it would have been fairly easy to land the mouse inside the play button :(
