Seems like a killer concept, FPSRTS, having a commander and dynamic objectives would be something new.

Also experimented with in early builds of TF2.
I was interested when it was a Source mod, but I don't think I can drop $50 on this between Battlefield 3, Space Marine, and Red Orchestra 2.

I remember the conspiracy theory about it being a fake project to get donation money :v:
It looks basically like a prettier version of the Empires HL2 mod, without vehicles. I'll pass.
Anyone here remembers savage? Empires and natural selection were cool but savage with its massive size made me feel like playing the normal grunt in an RTS game, and it still was a lot of fun. And aboven all free.

Battlezone 2 is still the best FPS-RTS.

It is getting vehicles though. The Devs even said so.
My God they're finally releasing it.
So, if I'm getting this right, one player has a top-down view, while the rest have a first person perspective? Sounds a lot like the layout of Zombie Master; excluding the zombies and malevolent aims. This sounds like it will work very, very well.
