It was a pretty fun game on the Xbox 360 when I played it with a bunch of friends for a week or so. The graphics are nice and colourful and it's always awesome when players band together for one of the special attacks and go fucking nuts.
Since it's free to play it's got loads of starter bonus packs and all that other jazz, but most of the stuff you can find in the online store (I think) can be unlocked within normal gameplay by ranking up as rewards.
Edit: Can't even get the game to work, you have to configure the games controls before even heading to the main menu and it asked me for a Microsoft account for when I tried to start the game.
